IPMI Marketing Awards recognize outstanding marketing, communications, and public relations efforts in parking, mobility, and transportation.
The Lexington Parking Authority (LPA) was one of six winners of 2021 International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI) Marketing Awards. The awards recognize outstanding parking and mobility marketing, public relations, and communications programs and campaigns. Winners use a wide spectrum of marketing tools, from advertising and public relations to collateral development, signage, special events, direct mail, video, and social media, to advance their programs and the greater parking and mobility industry. Entries are judged by a panel of experts from throughout the industry.
LPA was recognized with an award for Community Support, Social Media Campaign. For this campaign, LPA purchased gift certificates from local business and raffled them off through social media. This allowed LPA to support local businesses in the time of COVID, and gain new followers.Additionally, LPA provided free, curbside pickup spaces for local restaurants in our downtown area.“
This year’s Marketing Award winners exemplified creativity and resiliency in the parking, transportation, and mobility industry,” said IPMI CEO Shawn D. Conrad, CAE. “It is our honor to showcase their efforts, which highlight the services and products our industry members bring to their communities.”
